This is not good…
After seeing the cover for the new World’s Finest, and knowing that Earth-2 Helena is here because somehow she and Power Girl somehow ended up stranded on DCnU Earth by some strange means, I’m being inspired.
I’ve got this plot concept in my head where Helena is not the only relation of the Bat-clan stranded there from Earth-2. The idea is that the DCnU Red Robin/Tim Drake-Wayne is also from Earth-2.
He was adopted, early on, by Bruce Wayne (or perhaps he was Bruce and Selina’s youngest son?) and grew up as Helena’s baby brother (Dick is the oldest adopted son. Jason may/may not be there. Regardless…). The two of them were as thick as thieves as kids and remained close even when she became Huntress and she passed the mantle of Robin to him.
Somehow, Tim and Helena ended up on DCnU Earth together (in addition to whoever else). They’ve been actively avoiding Gotham City and any situations that would put them on a collision course with other Bats, while trying to further their own agendas. When it was clear that DCnU Earth already had a “Robin”, Tim changed his own costume to become “Red Robin”.
At present, Helena’s accepted that there’s no way to return home, so she’s trying to make the best of it. Tim’s still trying to find a way, and is looking towards metas for the answer, hoping that someone might exist with a way to travel through time/space/dimensions… or at least perhaps stumble upon an organization that has the technology to do exactly that. The two of them had a big fight about it not too long ago, which is why they’re both running solo atm. They can’t stay mad at each other for long, though. Next reunion, they apologize and all is well again…
Too many plot bunnies breeding like mad. Why must they torment me so…?
