angel-gidget asked you:
It all starts off when Red Robin shows up on Tam’s balcony. The sight of him bleeding, unconscious, and with his uniform in tatters is enough to send Tam’s roommate into hysterics when she discovers the broken vigilante outside their living room. It’s a bad enough scene that Tam resorts to using one of Tim’s knock-out gas capsules to keep her from calling the cops before she can call his family.
Tim’s sudden appearance is troubling in and of itself. His family worries even more because, before showing up in Gotham City, he was on an extended overseas mission with the Titans investigating the appearance of Apocalypse-tech showing up in the hands of international terrorists.
Troubles only mount when it becomes clear that all the other members of his team are MIA.
When Tim finally regains consciousness days later, he has total amnesia about what happened during his last mission with the team. He doesn’t even remember how he got back to Gotham. His injuries are serious enough that it’ll be several weeks, at least, before he’s cleared to work out in the field.
During his time in Gotham, he spends a lot of it with Tam at Wayne Enterprises. All seems well… until he starts getting flashbacks.
Flashbacks that lead to blackouts…
Blackouts that lead to him waking up in random places in Gotham.
One blackout ends with him regaining consciousness while standing on a ledge on the roof of Wayne Tower, as himself, with no equipment or grappling lines. Tam is nearby, frantic and her voice hoarse as if she’d been screaming at him at length in an attempt to stop him.
When he finally gets off the ledge and sits down, bewildered, a frightened but relieved Tam asks him about something he was muttering under his breath as he had been working on the computer systems at Wayne Enterprises.
